Italian sofa re-upholstered in Christian Lacroix for Designers Guild

The corridor was upholstered in an awning fabric, made of canvas.

A frame was built on the the wall, applying traditional ways, battoning and waddings and hessians were applied to allow the fabric to breath.

Then the awning fabric was layed, using a mixtrure of traditional French and English methods to allow a seamless finish where required and trim to add decorative detail.

Working with the client, to a tight deadline, these chairs and banquet seatings were re-upholstered and delivered to fit the space they were working with.

Very large cushions were built from scratch to fit a bespoke area.

They were made using a base of pocket springs and wrapped using traditional fillings and waddings, giving the the owner supreme comfort when lounging.

Covered using a Romo Linara linen.

Greaves and Thomas sofa bed and arm chairs upholstered for Scott Lorenzo

Hackney-based artist Lady Ray added her creative flair to the interior, having previously worked her magic on the decor of both The Star by Hackney Downs and The Jackdaw and Star. A mix of the classic and contemporary, the main bar has been painstakingly resurrected, quite literally returning from the ashes after having been ripped out and dumped in the cellar. The space has been completely redesigned with brand spanking new carpets and banquettes.
